Another great swede. This video swedes one of my favorite movies, {en:Tron}. It’s such an amazing job that out does many of the other swedes out there. Creatively done through a massive usage of stop animation and creative use of raw materials, to resemble the movie’s 1980s animation effects.
Besides the creative process used behind the making of this movie, the movie captures the most memorable beginning of Tron’s cycle scene. There are plenty of Tron fans out there who’d agree on the wonderful simulation of its original.
About 8 months ago, after seeing “Please Be Kind, Rewind”, I foresaw future possibilities in a rising of a Sweded culture. It seemed like a natural progression in today’s generation where we have total access to deliver video to everyone in the world on systems such as YouTube. The story of “Please Be Kind, Rewind,” made me think about the ongoing similarities with the fight on filesharing. The movie has definitely impacted the internet culture as it has finally caught on. Many of my favorites have been Sweded. Some hilarious and some just downright corny. The above YouTube caught my attention with only 2,922 views (Jan 24, 2009 @ 4pm) surely looks like a winner to me. I’ve also seen some others which will soon be posted. I look forward in seeing more great Swedes.
